Job summary

Discord is building its Lisbon IT hub and seeks a senior regional IT lead to stand up and run the full employee technology surface across EMEA. You will own identity, devices, networks, AV, and SaaS, partnering with Enterprise Security, and set up vendor relationships from Lisbon.

You will automate across systems, manage onboarding/offboarding, and ensure effective async handoffs with San Francisco. 8+ years in IT leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across most of the employee technology surface with depth in several areas.
• Experience with identity, device management, networking, and SaaS tooling.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguity and stand something up from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Stand up IT for the EMEA region from Lisbon, building office tech footprint and processes.
• Own regional identity, device, network, AV, and SaaS surface end-to-end.
• Automate via scripts and integrations to unify systems.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding for the region and maintain documentation.
• Be the regional IT anchor, align with SF team and ensure async handoffs.
• Identify recurring issues, automate workflows, and track time/risk reductions.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
