Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an EHS Manager in Portugal to advise our GT Service team on environmental, health, and safety requirements. You will lead safety initiatives, drive training, and analyze EHS data to identify trends and improvements under the Zero Harm framework.

The role requires ISO 14001/45001 proficiency, auditing skills, and 3–6 years of relevant experience. Portuguese and English fluency are essential; travel up to ~20% locally and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering/environmental engineering).
• ACT CAP VI certification by ACT Portuguese authority.
• 3–6 years in high-risk activities (cranes, lifting, machine guarding, energy isolation).
• Proficiency in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; auditing and root-cause investigation skills.
• Fluent written/spoken Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives to enhance a culture of safety within the organization.
• Lead and support essential EHS training initiatives to promote awareness and compliance.
• Analyze EHS data and report incident statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance on environmental, health, and safety issues, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate regular meetings within the EQS community to promote information exchange and updates.
• Support root cause analysis of EHS events and track identified actions for continuous improvement.
