EssilorLuxottica in Rio de Mouro, Portugal, invites an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety leader to drive the EHS strategy for the site. The role focuses on developing roadmaps, ensuring compliance with group standards and local laws, and building a strong prevention culture.

You will lead the EHS team, partner with Operations, HR and Support functions, own the budget, and oversee audits, risk management, and certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership/management positions within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing EHS management systems (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001).
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese EHS legislation.
• Experience leading audits, risk management programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Proven people management and change management capabilities.
• CAP Level VI in Occupational Safety (mandatory).
• CCP Trainer Certification (mandatory).

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the site's EHS strategy in alignment with local business priorities and Group objectives.
• Establish medium and long-term EHS roadmaps, objectives and performance targets.
• Act as a key advisor to the Operations Leadership Team regarding EHS risks, opportunities and compliance requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the EHS team.
• Build organizational EHS capabilities through training, engagement and leadership programs.
• Drive accountability across all management levels for EHS performance.
