Job summary

CloserHire is seeking a Dutch-speaking Team Leader in Lisbon to drive performance and lead a customer service team on-site. You will coach and develop agents, monitor KPIs, and ensure high service levels while maintaining a positive team culture in an international environment.

The role requires fluent Dutch (C1/C2) and strong English skills (B2+), with prior leadership experience in a similar BPO or customer service setting.

Qualifications

Fluent Dutch (C1/C2) required.
English proficiency at B2 or higher.
Experience in a Team/Leadership role in a BPO/Customer Service environment.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support a team of Customer Service Representatives.
Monitor team performance against KPIs, quality standards, and service targets.
Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
Support agents with escalated or complex customer cases.
Identify performance gaps and create improvement plans.
Manage daily operations, attendance, scheduling, and workload distribution.
Communicate updates, procedures, and objectives to the team.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Training and other departments to improve results.
Promote a positive, high-performance team culture.
