Melt Group is seeking an experienced Document Controller for a major Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal. You will manage the distribution and control of project documentation across all lifecycle phases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Key responsibilities include maintaining document controls in DMS/CDE systems, generating registers and reports, coordinating reviews with clients and subcontractors, and supporting handover with final documentation.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in document control, project administration, or similar within construction/engineering environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project settings.

Responsabilidades

At Melt Group, we are looking for an experienced Document Controller on behalf of a leading multinational company specialized in MEP engineering and construction for a large-scale Data Centre project based in Sines, Portugal, who will be taking responsibility for ensuring the effective management, control and distribution of project documentation throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance with project procedures.
• Maintain document control processes from submission through approval, distribution, archiving and project close-out.
• Ensure project information is correctly managed within digital document management systems.
• Support project controls by preparing document registers, reports and document metrics.
• Coordinate document reviews and approvals between internal teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Maintain project correspondence, technical submittals, drawings and quality documentation.
• Ensure document management complies with contractual and project requirements.
• Support project handover through the preparation and control of final documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Document Controller, Project Administrator or in a similar position within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial or Data Centre projects.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint).
• Experience working with Document Management Systems (DMS), Common Data Environments (CDE) or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
• Proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
