Job summary

IT House in Lisbon is recruiting a DevOps Engineer for a client in the logistics sector. You will build and operate cloud-native infrastructure on Azure with AWS support, automate provisioning and CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale AI use cases.

Fluency in English is mandatory, with a hybrid work model in Lisbon and base salary plus meal allowance along with other corporate benefits.

Qualifications

IT House is recruiting a DevOps Engineer for a client in the logistics sector, based in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and operate cloud-native infrastructure for AI solutions, data pipelines, APIs, agents, and platform services, with Azure as primary platform and AWS support where required;
• Create reusable infrastructure, deployment, observability, and environment patterns to accelerate AI teams from prototype to production;
• Automate provisioning, configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, secrets management, and cost controls for AI workloads;
• Support cloud architecture decisions for agentic workflows, model integrations, event-driven services, and data platforms;
• Ensure cloud environments comply with group standards for identity, access, encryption, logging, isolation, and operational resilience in collaboration with security teams;
• Collaborate with country IT and local teams to onboard environments, connect systems, troubleshoot deployments, and scale AI use cases;
• Continuously improve platform reliability, developer experience, cloud cost transparency, and operational maturity.

PROFILE

• Strong cloud-native development and deployment experience with Azure expertise and practical AWS exposure;
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (IaC), CI/CD, containerized workloads, monitoring, logging, and operational support;
• Solid engineering skills in Python and SQL, with optional TypeScript capability;
• Experience with enterprise data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, data storage, integration patterns);
• Experience working in cross-functional, international teams and with local IT organizations;
• Comfortable using GenAI software engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar);
• Pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset with ability to operate in evolving AI environments;
• Fluent English (mandatory).
