IT House in Lisbon is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and productionize GenAI applications for a logistics client. You will develop AI assistants, integrate with Azure AI services, and collaborate with data engineers to create end-to-end AI solutions.

Hybrid work model in Lisbon, with base salary plus meal allowance and other corporate benefits. Fluency in English is mandatory for this role.

Qualificações

• Proven Python and SQL software engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI apps, assistants, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with Azure AI services or Foundry platforms.
• Deep understanding of RAG, prompts, tool calls, and orchestration.
• Experience with APIs, cloud-native data pipelines, and enterprise integration.
• Comfort with GenAI tooling and GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

IT House is recruiting an AI Engineer for a client in the logistics sector, based in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and productionize AI applications, agents, and intelligent workflow components for business teams;
• Build AI assistants and agents using modern GenAI engineering patterns and production-ready workflows;
• Design and implement integrations with Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, APIs, enterprise systems, and data platforms;
• Develop retrieval, tool-use, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrail components for production AI solutions;
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to connect models, prompts, workflows, and data pipelines into reliable end-to-end solutions;
• Support the implementation of reusable agentic workflows across teams;
• Improve developer experience, engineering standards, and production readiness for AI software delivery.

PROFILE

• Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL;
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications, assistants, agents, or AI-enabled workflow automation;
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, or comparable AI platforms;
• Deep understanding of RAG, prompt and context engineering, tool calling, evaluation, and orchestration;
• Experience with APIs, cloud-native services, data pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns;
• Comfortable using GenAI software engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar);
• Software-minded mindset with ability to turn ambiguous business problems into working technical solutions;
• Fluent English (mandatory).
