WE ARE META is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Porto team. You will manage cross‑platform environments, automate operations, and support deployments in production. We value strong scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, Python), experience with Oracle RDBMS, and on‑call readiness.

The role is hybrid (Porto) with 2 days on site weekly and requires English (B2) proficiency. You will collaborate with development and operations, implement monitoring, and help optimize cloud services.

Qualificações

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps System Engineer.
• Experience managing Windows and Unix/Linux in production environments.
• Shell (KSH) and PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and coordinating with DB teams during deployments.
• Python scripting and Micro Focus CSA (HCM) exposure for automation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; drafting procedures and coordinating changes.
• On-call rotation availability and extended hours.
• Fluency in English (B2).
• Hybrid model 2 days a week based in Porto.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps System Engineer
• Proficiency in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, with the ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot systems across both platforms in a production context
• Scripting skills in Shell (KSH) and PowerShell to develop and maintain automation scripts for system operations, deployment, and incident response tasks
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS, coordinating with database teams during application deployments, incident resolution, and environment changes
• Exposure to Python scripting and Micro Focus CSA (HCM) is a plus, supporting automation initiatives and cloud service automation within the infrastructure production scope
• Strong organizational and communication skills, drafting operational procedures, coordinating cross‑functional technical changes, and participating in an on‑call rotation covering extended hours
• Availability for an on‑call system rotation
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model 2 times a week based in Porto
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
