We Are META in Porto is seeking a DevSecOps Coach to mentor cross-functional teams, embed security into the SDLC, and drive automation through API design and consumption. The role focuses on spreading CALMS principles across delivery workflows and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, strong knowledge of Bitbucket/Git, Jira, and TFS, and fluency in English (B2). A hybrid Porto-based arrangement is expected, with work two days a week onsite.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency with version control and project tracking platforms including Bitbucket (or Git), Jira, and TFS for end-to-end delivery management.
• Strong understanding of DevOps CALMS culture and applying them across cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and embedding security throughout the SDLC.
• Ability to design, consume, and create APIs to support automation and streamline operations.
• Strong pedagogical and communication skills to mentor team members.
• Fluency in English (B2).

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

• Strong understanding of DevOps culture principles (CALMS) and the ability to apply them consistently across cross-functional teams and delivery workflows.
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, with proven ability to embed security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to design, consume, and create APIs to support automation initiatives and streamline operational processes.
• Strong pedagogical and communication skills, with the ability to mentor team members and proactively propose strategies for knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model 2 times a week (based in Porto)
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
