Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a DBA with 5+ years of experience to join our hybrid Porto or Lisbon team. You will manage MS SQL Server and Oracle databases, optimize performance, ensure reliability, and implement runbooks and governance practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle administration and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server on-premises and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Experience with Oracle Database on-premises.
• Strong knowledge of database performance, diagnostics and monitoring.
• Experience with database governance, reliability, capacity planning and operational best practices.
• Experience identifying and remediating technical and operational database risks.
• Ability to create technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Strong mentoring and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Experience working in Azure and Windows Server environments.

Position: DBA (MS SQL Server & Oracle)

Location: Porto or Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
