Wire IT, based in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a DBA SQL SERVER for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will manage SQL Server databases, perform performance tuning, migrations, and AlwaysOn replication, collaborating with a senior team.

Fluency in French and English is mandatory; experience with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS and Power BI Server administration is valued. The company offers health insurance, vacation, meal allowance, and a dynamic international culture.

Qualificações

• Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA with post-2014 versions and Sybase ASE.
• Solid knowledge of T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with HA solutions, AlwaysOn and Transactional Replication.
• Experience with migrations, upgrades and platform refreshes.
• Knowledge of SSRS/SSIS/SSAS and Power BI Server administration/optimization.
• Experience with Azure cloud databases; AWS/GCP knowledge a plus.
• Good understanding of database architecture, infrastructure, networking and security.
• Availability for on-call duties and staggered working hours.
• Experience with .NET (C#, Angular or Rust) is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English is mandatory.

DBA SQL SERVER

Location:

Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

Required Skills:

• Strong experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), with SQL Server versions post-2014 and Sybase ASE
• Solid knowledge of T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, database maintenance and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with High Availability solutions, particularly AlwaysOn and Transactional Replication
• Experience with SQL Server migrations, upgrades and platform refreshes
• Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI Server administration and optimization
• Experience with cloud database platforms, particularly Azure, with AWS/GCP knowledge being a plus
• Good understanding of database architecture, infrastructure, networking and security
• Availability for on-call duties and staggered working hours
• Experience with .NET (C#, Angular or Rust) is a plus
• Fluent in both French and English is mandatory
