Wire IT is seeking a Senior DBA for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server in a hybrid Lisbon/Porto setup. You will manage critical production databases, ensure high availability, and drive DR readiness while collaborating with a senior, agile team in Portugal.

The role requires strong experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Always On, and cross-platform skills on Linux/Unix and Windows Server, plus solid English proficiency. This is a full-time hybrid position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in a similar Senior DBA role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard / Active Data Guard.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Always On.
• Experience in highly critical production environments.
• Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server.
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and/or T-SQL.
• Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Good English proficiency.

Required skills:

• 5+ Years of experience in a similar role
• Professional experience as a Senior DBA
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard / Active Data Guard
• Knowledge of SQL Server Always On
• Experience in highly critical production environments
• Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and/or T-SQL
