Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a DBA SQL SERVER to join its hybrid Lisbon team. You will manage SQL Server, perform performance tuning, migrations, and ensure high availability with AlwaysOn and replication, while applying best practices for security and resilience.

Fluent in French and English is mandatory; on-call duties and a collaborative, team-driven culture are part of the role, with opportunities for growth in a dynamically expanding international company.

Qualificações

• Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA with recent versions and Sybase ASE.
• Proficient in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with HA solutions and replication; migrations and platform refreshes.
• Familiar with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS and Power BI Server administration.
• Knowledge of cloud databases, especially Azure; French and English fluency required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage SQL Server environments, tune performance and troubleshoot.
• Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and platform refreshes.
• Maintain high availability using AlwaysOn and replication.
• Administer SSRS/SSIS/SSAS and Power BI Server.
• Collaborate across teams; support on-call duties.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), with SQL Server versions post-**** and Sybase ASE
• Solid knowledge of T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, database maintenance and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with High Availability solutions, particularly AlwaysOn and Transactional Replication
• Experience with SQL Server migrations, upgrades and platform refreshes
• Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI Server administration and optimization
• Experience with cloud database platforms, particularly Azure, with AWS/GCP knowledge being a plus
• Good understanding of database architecture, infrastructure, networking and security
• Availability for on-call duties and staggered working hours
• Experience with .NET (C#, Angular or Rust) is a plus
• Fluent in both French and English is mandatory
