Wire IT, a Portugal-based IT consulting partner, is seeking a DBA (MS SQL Server & Oracle) for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon. You will manage on-prem and cloud databases, tune performance, and ensure reliability in Azure and Windows Server environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as DBA, strong SQL Server and Oracle skills, and a track record of documentation and knowledge transfer. Join a growing international team and benefit from a supportive, people-centered culture.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle administration and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server on-premises and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Experience with Oracle Database on-premises.
• Strong knowledge of database performance, diagnostics and monitoring.
• Experience with database governance, reliability, capacity planning and operational best practices.
• Experience identifying and remediating technical and operational database risks.
• Ability to create technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Strong mentoring and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Experience working in Azure and Windows Server environments.

Location: Porto or Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
