iTRTech Group in Lisbon is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer with strong SAP BusinessObjects skills to strengthen the BI team. You will design and evolve SAP BO Universes, manage access controls and support upgrades, while designing data schemas and fast pipelines.
You also work with SQL databases, automate releases with Python, and collaborate with business and IT to ensure reliable data and analytics. Lisbon-based hybrid work option offered.

We are looking for a mid-level Data Engineer with strong SAP BusinessObjects knowledge to join a Business Intelligence team in Lisbon.
You will play an important role in strengthening SAP BusinessObjects expertise within the team. Your responsibilities will include creating and evolving SAP BO Universes, managing user groups and access restrictions, supporting platform upgrades and migrating Universes between versions and environments.
You will also design data schemas and high-performance pipelines, manage database-related activities, automate releases, perform data migrations, monitor performance and troubleshoot data-infrastructure issues.

- Create, maintain and evolve SAP BusinessObjects Universes.
- Translate business and reporting requirements into effective Universe designs.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Data Engineer or Business Intelligence specialist with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects.
You can independently create and evolve SAP BO Universes, manage user groups and restrictions, support version upgrades and perform Universe migrations. You understand how Universe design, databases, data pipelines and reporting requirements interact within a complete BI environment.
You have practical experience with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata and can investigate performance, connectivity and data-quality issues. You also possess Python knowledge and can contribute to release automation and data-processing activities.
You work effectively with both business and technical teams, understand analytical requirements and translate them into reliable data structures and BI solutions. Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku, digital-product deployments or third-party data governance will make your profile particularly relevant.
