act digital is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join an international BI team based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on SAP BusinessObjects, data infrastructure, pipelines, governance and BI artifacts across environments.

You will design Universes, manage access, automate releases, and support upgrades with strong SQL and Python skills in a Linux environment.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Design, create and evolve SAP BusinessObjects Universes.
• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines.

• Support SAP BusinessObjects upgrades and Universe migrations.
• Perform data migrations and database-related activities.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support data infrastructure and governance with BI, IT and business teams.

This is a great opportunity for a Data Engineer with strong SAP BusinessObjects expertise and experience in data infrastructure, data pipelines, database management and BI environments.

• Design, create and evolve SAP BusinessObjects Universes
• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines
• Manage user groups and access restrictions within SAP BusinessObjects
• Automate the end-to-end release of data and BI artifacts across environments
• Support SAP BusinessObjects upgrades and Universe migrations
• Perform data migrations and database-related activities
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support data infrastructure and governance activitiesCollaborate with BI, IT and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions
• SAP BusinessObjects – mandatory
• Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata
• Python knowledge
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx or Dataiku
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Understanding of data governance and digital product deployments is a plus
