About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join an international data integration product team operating across Paris and Lisbon.

You will contribute to the implementation of cloud-based data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC Cloud Data Integration and help migrate existing Talend applications to CDI. The role offers the opportunity to work with project teams across Europe, Asia, and the Americas in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong hands‑on integration expertise with analytical thinking, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering reliable, well‑documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of Informatica IDMC Cloud Data Integration solutions;
• Analyse and understand existing Talend applications and source code;
• Rebuild and migrate Talend integrations to Informatica CDI;
• Develop new CDI solutions from scratch following established development standards and best practices;
• Design, test, document, and deliver data integration applications;
• Participate in workshops with business and technical teams across different international entities;
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable integration solutions;
• Prepare solution designs, technical documentation, and delivery materials;
• Conduct non-regression testing and produce test reports;
• Identify and implement performance optimisations;
• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, project teams, and other technical stakeholders;
• Support the delivery of integration initiatives across nearshore and offshore teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• Between five and eight years of relevant professional experience in data integration or ETL development;
• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica IDMC Cloud Data Integration;
• Significant professional experience with Talend;
• Ability to analyse existing Talend code and migrate it to Informatica CDI;
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting data integration solutions;
• Knowledge of Unix scripting;
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server;
• Understanding of non-regression testing and performance optimisation;
• English proficiency at B2 level or above;
• Availability to work on a hybrid basis, attending the assigned office three days per week;
• Strong communication, organisation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills;
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with additional Informatica IDMC modules;
• Knowledge of OpenPaaS or similar cloud platforms;
• Experience with large-scale migration programmes;
• Familiarity with international delivery models involving European, Asian, or American teams;
• Experience facilitating technical workshops with business and project stakeholders.
