Optiwisers in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer focused on cloud-based data solutions and analytics. You will design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures and ETL processes to support enterprise analytics.

You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver robust data models, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses using Azure, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Power BI. The role offers a hybrid work model with one day in the office.

Competenze

• 5+ years of data engineering and cloud solutions experience.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and ETL workflows.
• Understanding of ERP processes, esp. logistics and SCM.

We're Hiring | Data Engineer (Cloud Solutions) – Porto, Portugal

Are you an experienced Data Engineer passionate about cloud technologies, data integration, and analytics?

We're looking for a talented professional to join our team in Porto, Portugal, working on cloud-based data solutions and enterprise analytics projects.

Hybrid Model: Only 1 day per week in the office (4 days remote)

What you'll be doing:

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based data solutions.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data integration processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Improve performance and maintain existing data applications.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and cloud solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Data Lakes, and Cloud Data Warehouses.
• Solid knowledge of data modelling, ETL workflows, and Power BI.
• Understanding of ERP processes, particularly Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Datasphere.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, or full-stack development.
