Excelia in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Data Engineer (Cloud Solutions) to design, implement and rollout data analytics applications in the cloud. This hybrid role requires collaboration with business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities include implementing data integration and ETL processes, performance tuning and ongoing maintenance of existing applications, with a focus on ERP/Logistics data and cloud platforms like MS Azure.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of ERP processes (Logistics / SCM).
• Solid data modelling concepts for Data Lake / Cloud Data Warehouse.
• Programming skills in Python, PySpark, Java, SQL or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially MS Azure.
• Proficiency in data workflows, modelling, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of MS Power BI and other BI technologies.

Position: Data Engineer (Cloud Solutions)

Location: Porto, Portugal | Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office

Main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and rollout of Corporate IT Applications in data analytics cloud
• Collaboration with the business and cross-functional teams for gathering requirements

and being able to design/deliver solutions.

• Implement data integration and ETL processes.
• Performance tuning, maintenance, support, and further development of existing

applications.

Requirements:

• 5 Years of minimum experience as a Data Engineer in cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of ERP Processes (Logistics / SCM).
• Good understanding of data modelling concepts, preferably based on the Data Lake / Cloud Data Warehouse environment handling large datasets.
• Good programming skills in Python, PySpark, Java, SQL, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (MS Azure).
• Proficiency in data modelling, workflows, and data visualization.
• Knowledge in MS Power BI and other BI technologies
