Excelia, a multinational consulting firm in Portugal, is looking for a Data Engineer (Cloud Solutions) based in Porto. This hybrid role involves designing and implementing corporate IT applications in a cloud analytics environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience, strong ERP process understanding, and proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of ERP processes, especially Logistics/SCM.
• Familiarity with handling large datasets in data lake/cloud data warehouse environments.

Overview

Position: Data Engineer (Cloud Solutions). Location: Porto, Portugal | Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and rollout of Corporate IT Applications in data analytics cloud environment.
• Collaboration with the business and cross-functional teams for gathering requirements and being able to design/deliver solutions.
• Implement data integration and ETL processes.
• Performance tuning, maintenance, support, and further development of existing applications.

Requirements

• 5 Years of minimum experience as a Data Engineer in cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of ERP Processes (Logistics / SCM).
• Good understanding of data modelling concepts, preferably based on the Data Lake / Cloud Data Warehouse environment handling large datasets.
• Good programming skills in Python, PySpark, Java, SQL, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (MS Azure).
• Proficiency in data modelling, workflows, and data visualization.
• Knowledge in MS Power BI and other BI technologies
• English fluency (mandatory)
