QUANTEAM, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is a consulting firm specializing in Banking and Financial Services. We are looking for a Data Engineer to design ingestion pipelines and develop ETL/ELT processes in Lisbon.

The role requires 6 years in data, strong SQL/NoSQL, Python, and experience with data governance. Hybrid Lisbon office, 50% on-site, permanent contract with benefits including health insurance and extra holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Data Engineer

• Design and implement raw data ingestion pipelines into Data Lakes.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, accessibility, and referencing standards.
• Industrialize, automate, monitor, and integrate data solutions into production environments.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Identify business use cases and translate operational needs into technical solutions and project roadmaps.
• Lead client workshops and facilitate collaboration between business and technology teams.
• Promote a data-driven culture and support the adoption of data solutions.
• Track project progress, KPIs, and deliverables using Jira and Confluence.
• 6 years of experience in Data
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Hands-on experience developing end-to-end data pipelines using ETL tools, SQL, and Python.
• Experience building raw data ingestion pipelines for Data Lakes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of data governance principles and corporate governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Proficiency in project management and tracking tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Fluency in English - written and spoken (B2+).
• This role offers a gross annual salary starting at 35.000€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
