Job summary

Quanteam, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is a consulting firm specialising in Banking and Financial Services. We seek a Business Analyst – Risk & Finance Data to bridge Risk, Finance and IT teams in Lisbon. You will manage data quality, reporting calendars and support application enhancements with SQL and Power BI skills.

The role offers a permanent contract, health insurance, and additional holiday. English fluency at C1 is mandatory, with French as a plus, and exposure to SAS Enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; experience as Business/Functional Analyst.
• Experience in data and reporting applications within risk, finance or ALM/treasury.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI; strong Excel and Office skills.
• Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide and Jira is a plus.
• Fluent English (C1); French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Risk, Finance, ALM/Treasury and IT to support data and reporting.
• Coordinate closing calendars and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage reference data, data quality and controls.
• Provide user support, investigate issues and coordinate resolution.
• Define, execute and validate test plans for enhancements and releases.

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Risk & Finance Data

• Act as a bridge between Risk, Finance, ALM/Treasury and IT teams to support data and reporting applications.
• Coordinate closing calendars and monitor data production to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage reference data and perform data quality checks and operational controls.
• Provide first-level functional support to end users, investigating issues and coordinating their resolution.
• Define, execute and validate test plans for application enhancements and releases.
• Support project management activities and maintain functional documentation, data models, release notes and validation records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and application support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, IT, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, including application administration and functional support.
• Proven experience in test plan definition, execution and validation.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide, Jira and Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Previous experience in banking, financial reporting or risk-related environments is an advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at C1 level is mandatory.
• French language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, client-focused approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
