Körber invites a Software Engineer to drive upgrade projects by developing and refining software solutions in line with management guidelines and contractual requirements. You will support planning, testing, and handover, while ensuring solution integrity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a Software Engineering degree, advanced PL/SQL/Transact-SQL skills, and fluency in English. Travel is expected, and you will collaborate with Project and Account Managers to meet technical goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and Transact-SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• English fluent, both verbal and written.
• Available for travelling.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and parametrize software solutions for projects according to schedule.
• Provide technical input for planning and align customer needs with defined solutions.
• Support project management with execution timings and testing phases.
• Record functional tests in the office and on-site to ensure correct operation of the solution.
• Prepare operation and application manuals.
• Assist with customer interfaces and handovers during commissioning.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of upgrade projects within the software engineering area, namely through the development and improvement of implemented technical solutions, in accordance with management guidelines and contractual requirements, while ensuring their integrity and consistency.

Your role in our team

• Ensure the development and parametrization of the software and technical solutions for the project and be commited to execute these tasks on the pre-defined schedule.
• Provide commercial support and ensure alignment between the needs identified by the customer from the point of view of the technical requirements and the solution defined by the Company.
• Support Technical Manager, or the Project Manager when necessary, in the execution of the project planning and provide technical inputs related to timings of execution of the different phases of the project.
• Contribute to the alignment between the Company's delivery capacity and the defined planning.
• In coordination with the Technical Manager perform and record all funcional tests in office, in order to ensure the operation and proper functioning of the complete solution.
• Perform the tests and trials on site, of installation and commissioning in order to ensure the operation and proper functioning of the different equipments, and contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare the operation and application manuals.
• Support and collaborate, whenever requested, with Project Manager and/or Account Manager in all type of interface with the customer, namely, in the analysis and discussion of technical aspects of their specialty.
• Participate in the commissioning phase of the installations supporting in the activities of handover.
• Ensure its proper functioning and technical operation and contribution to customer satisfaction.
• Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods.
• Ensure compliance with the company's policy for quality, environment and safety according to the superior guidelines and contractual requirements, guaranteeing the integrity and the uniformity of the same.

Your profile

• Relevant college degree, namely in Software Engineering or similar;
• Advanced knowledge of database programming languages (PL/SQL and Transact-SQL)
• Advanced knowledge of databases (Oracle and SqlServer).
• English fluent, both verbal and written;
• Proactive team player with strong organization skills;
• Analytical and Results Oriented mindset.
• Available for Travelling
