EF Language Abroad is seeking a Country Product Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead the program team in Lisbon, ensuring coaches and coordinators are supported and aligned with regional growth targets. You will drive performance, build partnerships with schools, and oversee daily operations to sustain high standards of student service.

Qualificações

• 4+ years’ experience in customer service and/or Telemarketing.
• Degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality, or related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
• Full working rights in Portugal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive performance by leading your team of Program Coordinators to achieve customer growth goals.
• Grow your market by building partnerships with local schools and universities.
• Oversee daily operations including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Shape growth strategies and marketing/promotional activities for EF Language Abroad programs.
• Maintain strong communication with other EF offices and external partners for student service.
• Assist the Country Manager with budgeting, invoicing, visa procedures, and marketing materials distribution.

As a Country Product Manager, you are responsible for the development and performance of the program team, ensuring they are supported, coached, and set up for success. In addition, you drive the achievement of your teams’ targets by monitoring results and guiding the team to meet key performance goals.

The role of Country Product Manager is a stepping stone to a future in global leadership, where your drive, creativity, and impact can shape the future of international education in your region and beyond. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and is part of the management track, offering clear development opportunities toward leadership and team management responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Driving Performance: Lead and support your team of Program Coordinators in executing a regional customer growth strategy to achieve short- and long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.
• Business Development: Grow your market by leveraging market trends, building new partnerships, and strengthening relationships with local schools and universities.
• Team Leadership: Assist the Country Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the office, including team hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Growth Strategy: Analyze market conditions, team performance, and competitors to shape and implement effective promotion and marketing strategies of EF Language Abroad programs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication with other EF offices, campus teams, and external educational partners to ensure success for your team while delivering students top tier customer service.
• Operational Management: Assist the Country Manager in overseeing the team budgeting, supporting with operational tasks (invoicing, visa procedures), and guaranteeing timely distribution of marketing materials.

What We're Looking For

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Full working rights in Portugal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 4+ years’ experience in customer service and/or Telemarketing
• Degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline) or equivalent work experience
• Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus!
• Someone who is detail-oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• All additional languages are a plus!
