EF Language Abroad in Portugal is seeking a Country Product Manager to lead the development and performance of the program team, coaching and supporting staff to meet targets.

You will drive regional growth by building partnerships with schools, oversee operations with the Country Manager, and align marketing strategies to attract students while delivering excellent service.

Qualificações

• 4+ years’ experience in customer service and/or telemarketing.
• Full working rights in Portugal.
• Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field or equivalent experience.

As a Country Product Manager,you are responsible for the development and performance of the program team, ensuring they are supported, coached, and set up for success. In addition, you drive the achievement of your teams’ targets by monitoring results and guiding the team to meet key performance goals.

The role of Country Product Manager is a stepping stone to a future inglobal leadership, where your drive, creativity, and impact can shape the future of international education in your region and beyond. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and is part of the management track, offering clear development opportunities toward leadership and team management responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Driving Performance:Lead and support your team of Program Coordinators in executing a regional customer growth strategy to achieve short- and long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.

Business Development:Grow your market by leveraging market trends, building new partnerships, and strengthening relationships with local schools and universities.

Team Leadership:Assist the Country Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the office, including team hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, and staff development.

Growth Strategy:Analyze market conditions, team performance, and competitors to shape and implement effective promotion and marketing strategies of EF Language Abroad programs.

Stakeholder Communication:Maintain strong communication with other EF offices, campus teams, and external educational partners to ensure success for your team while delivering students top tier customer service.

Operational Management:Assist the Country Manager inoverseeing the team budgeting, supporting with operational tasks (invoicing, visa procedures), and guaranteeing timely distribution of marketing materials.

What we're looking for:

Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Full working rights in Portugal

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4+ years’ experience in customer service and/or Telemarketing

Degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline) or equivalent work experience

Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus!

Someone who is detail-oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude

All additional languages are a plus!
