About the job Customer Expert English Market

We are seeking English speakers (C1 and higher, written and spoken) to join our client's team as enthusiastic Operations Customer Experts to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in expanding their digital presence on the worlds biggest social media platform. In this role, you will provide top-tier customer service across multiple channels, including chat, email, and phone, ensuring clients receive the best possible experience.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (onsite role)
Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month contract with the possibility of a permanent contract after 2 years

Working shifts: a day shift (06.00 to 22.00, on a rotational 8 hour shift pattern) and a night shift is available (22.00 to 06.00).

What Were Looking For
  • Fluency in English (C1 level minimum) both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong soft skills for de-escalating situations and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • EU member state passport, a temporary protection certificate for refugees or a valid residence card for Portugal (a MUST)
  • Located in Lisbon (no relocation help is offered for this role)
Training & Onboarding
  • Comprehensive 15-day training program covering product knowledge, tools, and customer management.
  • Training is conducted in English and fully compensated
  • Upon successful completion, you will sign a 1 year employment contract

Please note: This position is based in Portugal and requires candidates to be eligible to work in the country.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week on a rotational shift basis.
  • Workplace: Lisbon, Portugal.
  • Salary: Monthly gross salary of EUR 1,237.83, including base salary, holiday & Christmas bonuses, and meal allowance.
  • Private health and dental insurance upon contract signature.
  • Extra payment for working on Sundays and public holidays
  • Higher payment for working night shifts (not included in the salary mentioned above, so the final monthly gross salary will be higher)
  • 22 vacation days per year, plus Portuguese public holidays.
