EF Language Abroad in Lisbon is seeking a Country Product Manager for a 5-6 month maternity cover. You will lead a regional program team, coach coordinators, and drive growth with partners and schools.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role offers development toward leadership, with responsibilities spanning performance, business development, operations, and stakeholder communication in an international setting.

Qualificações

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience in customer service and/or telemarketing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support your team of Program Coordinators to meet regional growth targets.
• Grow the market by leveraging trends, partnerships, and local relationships.
• Oversee daily office operations, hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Shape and implement promotion and marketing strategies for EF Language Abroad programs.
• Maintain strong communication with EF offices, campus teams, and partners to deliver top-tier service.
• Assist with budgeting, invoicing, visa procedures, and distribution of marketing materials.

As a Country Product Manager, you are responsible for the development and performance of the program team, ensuring they are supported, coached, and set up for success. In addition, you drive the achievement of your teams' targets by monitoring results and guiding the team to meet key performance goals.

The role of Country Product Manager is a stepping stone to a future in global leadership, where your drive, creativity, and impact can shape the future of international education in your region and beyond. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and is part of the management track, offering clear development opportunities toward leadership and team management responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Driving Performance: Lead and support your team of Program Coordinators in executing a regional customer growth strategy to achieve short- and long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.
• Business Development: Grow your market by leveraging market trends, building new partnerships, and strengthening relationships with local schools and universities.
• Team Leadership: Assist the Country Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the office, including team hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Growth Strategy: Analyze market conditions, team performance, and competitors to shape and implement effective promotion and marketing strategies of EF Language Abroad programs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication with other EF offices, campus teams, and external educational partners to ensure success for your team while delivering students top tier customer service.
• Operational Management: Assist the Country Manager in overseeing the team budgeting, supporting with operational tasks (invoicing, visa procedures), and guaranteeing timely distribution of marketing materials.

What We're Looking For

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Full working rights in Portugal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 4+ years' experience in customer service and/or Telemarketing
• Degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline) or equivalent work experience
• Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus!
• Someone who is detail-oriented with a 'can-do' attitude
• All additional languages are a plus!
