Job summary

InnoTech is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect in Portugal to design scalable, secure Kubernetes-based cloud architectures and platform automation.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible, shape CI/CD and GitOps strategies, and establish strong networking, IAM, and governance foundations. You will promote observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, and work across AWS/Azure/OCI/OpenStack environments to deliver resilient, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design scalable cloud architectures with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tooling and pipelines.

Your Mission Will Be

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Cloud architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms;
• Shape infrastructure automation and deployment strategies using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management;
• Define and improve CI/CD and GitOps approaches to support reliable software delivery;
• Establish strong foundations around networking, identity, access management, security, and platform governance;
• Promote observability, reliability, and continuous improvement across Cloud-native environments.

You Will Need

• Proven experience designing and delivering Cloud architectures and Kubernetes platforms, with a strong understanding of networking, storage, security, and RBAC;
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible, alongside solid Linux, Bash, and Python skills;
• Practical experience with CI/CD and GitOps technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Flux;
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, as well as Docker and Cloud environments including STACKIT, AWS, Azure, OCI, or OpenStack;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;
• Advanced English proficiency, with Spanish language skills considered a plus;
• Experience working across different Cloud providers or complex multi-Cloud environments;
• A strong interest in Cloud-native architecture, automation, platform engineering, and emerging technologies;
• A collaborative, analytical, and proactive approach, with a genuine drive for continuous learning.
