InnoTech in Porto, Portugal is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, champion GitOps with ArgoCD, and bolster AKS-based platforms using Docker and Helm.

The role focuses on improving deployment reliability, observability, and security, while partnering with Development, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Security teams to raise operational excellence across our cloud-native platform.

Qualificações

• 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and YAML pipelines.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), as well as Docker and Helm.
• Practical experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based release management, including deployment promotion, rollback strategies, and environment management.
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Responsabilidades

• Drive release automation and GitOps practices through ArgoCD, ensuring reliable deployments and clear traceability across environments;
• Support and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms, particularly AKS, while maintaining containerization standards with Docker and Helm;
• Strengthen platform observability, resilience, and security through monitoring, logging, alerting, vulnerability scanning, and automated compliance controls;
• Partner with Development, Infrastructure, Architecture, Integration, and Security teams to improve platform consistency, developer experience, and operational excellence.

Your Mission Will Be

• Design, implement, and continuously improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML and reusable templates;

You Will Need

• 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles;
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and YAML pipelines, preferably in enterprise‑scale environments;
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), as well as Docker and Helm;
• Practical experience with ArgoCD and GitOps‑based release management, including deployment promotion, rollback strategies, and environment management;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID;
• Strong knowledge of observability, logging, alerting, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in production environments;
• Experience embedding DevSecOps practices into CI/CD workflows, including security validation, vulnerability scanning, and automated compliance checks;
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash, combined with a strong analytical, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
