Smith+Nephew is seeking a clinically minded Clinical Support Representative to expand adoption of Advanced Wound Management across Portugal. You will work with hospitals, clinicians and key stakeholders, demonstrating clinical and economic value while helping improve patient outcomes.

A field-based role requiring travel across the North, Central regions and islands, with a base salary range and annual bonus potential.

Qualificações

• Qualified nurse, physician or pharmacist.
• At least 3 years in sales, hospital-based roles, Market Access or as a Clinical Consultant.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
• Intermediate to advanced English; able to work independently across Portugal.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in Portugal.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Are you a clinically minded healthcare professional who thrives on building relationships and creating value for customers? As a Clinical Support Representative, you will play a key role in expanding the adoption of our Advanced Wound Management portfolio, partnering with healthcare professionals to demonstrate clinical and economic value while helping improve patient outcomes across Portugal.

What will you be doing?

In this field based role, you will work closely with hospitals, clinicians, key opinion leaders, and healthcare stakeholders across the North and Central regions of Portugal and the islands. You will combine your clinical expertise with a commercial mindset to identify opportunities, support protocol implementation, generate evidence, and drive the adoption of our product portfolios.

You will build long term customer partnerships, provide expert product support, and lead value based discussions that demonstrate both clinical outcomes and return on investment. Working across established accounts, you will help customers address their challenges while supporting sustainable business growth and delivering exceptional service.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role comes from combining strong clinical knowledge with the ability to influence, educate, and build trusted partnerships across healthcare environments.

You’ll bring:

• A qualification as a Nurse, Physician, or Pharmacist.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, hospital based roles, Market Access, or as a Clinical Consultant.
• The ability to develop strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to deliver tailored solutions that create value.
• Intermediate to advanced English language skills and the confidence to work independently across a diverse customer base.
• A valid driving licence and the willingness to travel extensively across the North and Central regions of Portugal and the islands to support customers and grow the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word, with the ability to create reports, presentations and customer plans.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is €30,750 - €46,250 annually.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job-related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications, and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location, and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender-neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band to ensure consistency and fairness.
