Hotel Infante Sagres Porto, a flagship property of the Experimental Group, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join its celebrated kitchen. You will support senior chefs, manage mise en place, follow recipes, and organize your station during service to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes. We value passion for gastronomy, strict hygiene, and teamwork.

Portuguese language is essential; English is a plus. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment.
• Experience supervising junior team members and coaching.
• Strong organizational skills and efficiency; genuine passion for gastronomy.
• Rigorous in following procedures and hygiene standards.
• Good Portuguese communication; English knowledge is a plus.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Sous Chefs and kitchen leadership in daily operations.
• Prepare mise en place and follow recipes according to sheets.
• Manage and organize the assigned kitchen section during service.
• Prepare dishes according to the menu and orders.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed and stock is managed.
• Check preparations, tasting, and adjustments; ensure proper storage.
