A leading consulting firm is seeking an IT Business Analyst for Integration in Lisbon. The candidate will design solutions for the IT integration layer across Europe within a transformation program. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience and knowledge in business analysis, APIs, and agile methodologies. The role offers a competitive salary and a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
Strong knowledge of business analysis tools like user stories, UML, BPMN.
Experience in design of APIs and working in agile environments.

Responsabilidades

Liaise between business requirements and technical components.
Perform business requirement mapping for APIs.
Document the requirements for project interfaces.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for Integration, based in Lisbon, whose primary focus will be to design the solutions for the Integration Layer of the IT landscape that supports the business across Europe within a Transformation Programme.

Responsibilities

Liaise between the business by understanding their requirements and the technical components – general notion of APIs, service buses, integration, etc.
Perform business requirement mapping for technical components (e.g., APIs)
Document the requirements for the interfaces in scope for each project/release and keep it updated
Support any queries from development teams and testing phases

What Are We Looking For

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, working in an IT and/or technical environment
Insurance business knowledge to understand business cases
Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, such as user stories, use cases, wireframes, UML, BPMN, etc.
Experience in design of APIs, evaluation of service catalogs to fit the business requirements
Basic knowledge and general perception (high-level view) of ESB, APIs and integration
Consolidated knowledge in data modelling – this analyst will define the object in the data model according to each integration, and assess the new requirements impact in this data model
Experience in working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
Previous or current experience in testing would be an advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Use of English as a working language (both written and spoken)
Experience in Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, Trello)
Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
