Decskill is seeking an IT Business Analyst to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, supporting data management, reporting, and testing activities. The role involves coordinating calendars, maintaining reference data, and ensuring data quality across projects with international teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and strong SQL/Power BI skills, plus experience in test plans and MS Office. Banking sector experience is valued and English proficiency is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, IT or related field.
• Experience as a Business/Functional Analyst, especially in administration and support.
• Experience defining, executing and validating test plans.
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI.
• Strong MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide is a plus; JIRA is a plus.
• Experience in banking/financial sector is valued.
• Able to translate complex requirements into clear solutions.

• Coordinate testing activities and ensure results meet requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including validation statements and release notes.
• Analyze data and reporting processes using SQL and Power BI.
• Collaborate with international teams to improve processes and data quality.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst!

Responsibilities:

• Act as an intermediary between business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Define, execute, and validate test plans.
• Coordinate testing activities and ensure that results meet business and technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including validation statements, release notes, data models, and other relevant documentation.
• Analyse data and reporting processes using SQL and Power BI.
• Identify issues, assess their impact, and contribute to the definition of appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams in an international and multicultural environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting solutions, and data quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, particularly in administration and support activities.
• Proven experience in test plan definition, execution, and validation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide is a plus.
• Knowledge of JIRA is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial sector is valued.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex business and technical requirements and translate them into clear solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international and multicultural teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a structured and organised manner.
• Good level of English.
