Job summary

Quanteam (Rainbow Partners Group) is seeking a Business Analyst – Custody & Tax in Lisbon on a hybrid basis. You will gather and challenge stakeholder requirements, translate them into clear functional specs, and support testing and UAT throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with Business and IT teams, manage requirements and change requests, and contribute to reporting and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in financial industry with custody exposure.
• Experience with custody and/or tax processes.
• Strong SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Experience with Jira.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear functional specs.

Business Analyst – Custody & Tax Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear and structured functional requirements. Participate in preliminary studies and contribute to the definition of functional solutions. Provide functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with Business and IT teams to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented. Contribute to functional testing and support Business users during User Acceptance Testing.

Follow project and release activities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are respected. Manage requirements and Change Requests throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder communication. Work with IT teams on solutions supporting Custody and Tax activities. Analyze data and support functional investigations when required. Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax, Law or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst. 4+ years of experience in the financial industry, with strong exposure to Custody activities. Good understanding of Custody and/or Tax processes. Experience working with Jira. Good overall understanding of IT environments. Experience with relational databases and SQL is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information.

Fluency in English (written and spoken). Hybrid position based in Lisbon. This role offers a gross annual salary between 32.000€ to 48.000€, defined according to the candidate's experience and competencies. Permanent contract (CTI). Health Insurance.
