Job summary

Rumos Consulting in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks a motivated business analyst to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements with stakeholders. You will translate them into functional specs and use cases to guide development, and you will prepare and perform acceptance tests, report defects, and ensure timely delivery.

You will also create, update, and maintain functional and testing documentation, contributing to agile projects in the banking/financial sector, with English and French

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification in Information Technology or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in similar roles.
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and Jira and Confluence tools.
• Experience defining and preparing test cases.
• Knowledge of SQL and UML.
• Knowledge of Jira Xray and test documentation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Knowledge of the Banking or Financial sector.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of French.
• Organizational skills, autonomy and priority management.
• Proactivity, initiative and the ability to innovate.
• Ability to promote and implement good working practices.
• Good communication, teamwork and mentoring skills for less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Preparing functional specifications and use cases to support the development process.
• Preparing and performing acceptance tests, identifying and reporting defects, following up on their resolution and delivery.
• Creating, updating and maintaining functional and testing documentation.
