Job summary

Rumos Portugal is seeking a capable IT professional to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders. The role involves drafting functional specs, planning UAT, identifying defects, and ensuring delivery.

You will create and maintain functional and test documentation while collaborating with agile teams. The ideal candidate holds a IT-related degree, is fluent in English with French knowledge, and can manage priorities, promote best practices, and mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and Jira and Confluence tools.
• Experience in defining and developing test cases.
• Knowledge of SQL and UML.
• Knowledge of Jira Xray and test documentation.
• Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Knowledge of the banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of test automation tools, such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, or Cucumber, is a plus.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of French.
• Organizational skills, ability to work independently, and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactivity, initiative, and a capacity for innovation.
• Ability to promote and implement best practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to mentor less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders;
• Developing functional specifications and use cases to support the development process;
• Preparing and executing user acceptance tests (UAT), identifying and reporting defects, and tracking their resolution and delivery;
• Creating, updating, and maintaining functional and test documentation.
