Job summary

Rumos Portugal is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner to validate functional designs, ensure quality through testing, and support feature roll-outs within Agile projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and clients to govern repositories and document decisions.

The role requires experience with BDD/Gherkin, API/UI design and testing, SQL, Postman, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience as Business Analyst or Product Owner in Agile projects.
• Knowledge of BDD and Gherkin; ability to define acceptance criteria.
• Experience designing and testing user interfaces and APIs.
• Knowledge of data structuring, definition and organisation.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Practical experience with Postman for REST API monitoring and queries.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Good knowledge of Office 365.
• French language knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, specify and validate functional designs for new features in the RPG repository.
• Ensure solution quality by participating in qualification and functional testing prior to go-live.
• Support change management and assist support, helpdesk and user teams in feature roll-out.
• Assist the Product Owner in repository governance and documentation for project committees and Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to development of the new Person repository and monitor features in production.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, developers, QA, Application Owner, clients and other stakeholders.
