eXalt Fi is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams in Lisbon. The role requires bilingual English and French capabilities, with around 6 years of BA experience in banking or financial services.

You will gather requirements, map processes, create BRDs and user stories, and guide workshops and UAT in a hybrid work setup. Candidates should be comfortable reading Java code to understand issues and mentor junior analysts, while applying Agile,

Qualifications

• Around 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Fluent English is mandatory; CV must be in English. French is a strong plus.
• Experience in gathering requirements, process mapping and business process reengineering.
• Ability to read Java code to understand issues (no development work).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; UML knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking products, regulations and compliance is advantageous.
• Location in Lisbon or willingness to relocate with right to work in Portugal.

Our client is a leading French banking group, building solutions for its businesses worldwide from its Lisbon hub. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join its IT solutions team and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and delivery teams, in French and English.

• Requirements: Gather, document and analyse business needs with stakeholders, in French and English.
• Analysis: Run gap analysis, process mapping and data analysis to spot improvement opportunities.
• Documentation: Write clear BRDs, functional specifications and user stories.
• Workshops & UAT: Facilitate workshops to reach consensus, then validate deliveries through UAT.
• Investigation & Mentoring: Read Java code to understand an issue alongside developers, and coach junior analysts.
• Experience: Around 6 years as a Business Analyst, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Methods: Requirements gathering, process mapping, business process reengineering; Agile, Waterfall, UML.
• Technical curiosity: Able to read Java code to understand a problem (no development).
• Banking knowledge: Banking products, regulations and compliance are a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent English (mandatory, CV in English). French is a strong plus.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Lisbon, with the right to work in Portugal.
