Prime Nearshore is seeking a Production Support Engineer to ensure operational stability, availability, and performance of production environments on an international banking project. You will run RUN activities, manage batch processing with Control‑M, monitor real‑time processing, and drive improvements in production operations.

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Production Support, Operations Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong experience supporting Linux and Windows production environments.
• Proven experience working in 24/7 production support environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating with development, infrastructure, and application support teams.
• Ability to prioritize incidents and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and continuous improvement approach.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the operational readiness of RUN Open solutions, including CMDB updates, technical documentation, vulnerability management, and obsolescence tracking.
• Provide Level 2 production support for business‑critical applications.
• Define, schedule, and execute batch jobs using Control‑M.
• Monitor production processing in real time and ensure SLA compliance.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, batch failures, dependency issues, and abnormal terminations.
• Execute daily production operations and perform recovery procedures when required.
• Manage production resources such as disk space, queues, catalogs, and system availability.
• Monitor and support file transfers using CFT / Connect.
• Troubleshoot and resolve file transfer incidents.
• Support application teams during production incidents and deployments.
• Participate in production releases, change management activities, and scheduled maintenance outside business hours when required.
• Optimize batch processing chains to improve performance and reduce execution times.
• Produce operational procedures, technical documentation, and runbooks.
• Maintain operational documentation and CMDB information up to date.
• Prepare operational reports related to system availability, performance, and production activities.
• Act as Technical Integrator, coordinating technical implementation activities across multiple teams.
• Promote DevOps best practices, including automation, observability, operational excellence, and security.

About The Project

We are looking for an Production Support Engineer to join an international banking project.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of production environments by supporting RUN activities, managing batch scheduling, monitoring critical business processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of production operations.

You will collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, ScrumOps, and project managers to guarantee reliable production services while following DevOps best practices.
