Renvolt Energy is seeking an Automation & Control Engineer to study requirements for monitoring and control systems, design network architectures, and create Technical Specifications. The role involves on-site installation verification, commissioning, and collaborating with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering, with knowledge of Ethernet/Modbus, basic network devices, and AutoCAD; travel domestically and internationally

Formación

• Degree or master's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, ...).
• Basic knowledge of network devices.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Study and analyze requirements for monitoring and control systems and other automation systems.
• Design and evaluate architectures for network equipment and field networks.
• Create technical specifications, requirements and functional descriptions.
• Prepare and discuss supporting drawings and diagrams.
• Perform technical analysis and compare system solutions and equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support, Verifications, tests and commissioning.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for installed systems at sites.
• Engage with multiple project stakeholders.
• Explore new approaches for hybrid systems, storage systems and energy management.
• Propose continuous improvement techniques for internal processes.

Renvolt is looking for a motivated and dynamic Automation & Control Engineer that will have the following responsibilities:

• Study and analyze requirements for monitoring and control systems, security systems and other associated automation systems;
• Design and evaluate systems architectures for network equipment and communication field network;
• Create Technical Specification/Requirements, Functional Description and similar documents;
• Create, study and discuss supporting drawings;
• Perform technical analysis and comparison of system solution/equipment;
• On-site technical support – verifications, tests and commissioning of the designed systems;
• Technical discussion and management of sub-contractors for systems to be installed on the site;
• Interaction with several project stakeholders;
• Study new approaches and solutions for the current challenges on the area of hybrid system, storage system, energy management system and other automation systems;
• Study and propose continuous improvements techniques to support the internal process optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Degree or master’s degree Student in Electrical or Electronic or Automation Engineering;
• Communication interface and protocols knowledge (Ethernet, Modbus, ...);
• Basic knowledge of network devices;
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software (is a plus);
• Spare time for national and international travels.
