Quadrante seeks an Automation Technician to lead a team driving digital transformation in infrastructure projects. You will work directly with clients to identify needs and implement automation solutions that integrate SCADA, sensors and control systems.

You will design robust data communication infrastructures for large projects, ensure secure IP configurations, and monitor systems to minimise downtime while delivering measurable improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Solid knowledge of automation systems, sensors, SCADA systems and other control technologies.
• Proven experience in industrial PLC programming, particularly with Allen-Bradley.
• Knowledge of security principles and/or data-system communication.
• Experience integrating multiple automation and control systems for interoperability.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an Automation Technician to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact building projects.

Job Responsibilities – What you will build:

In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible impact.

You will:

• Lead the development and management of a team focused on the digital transformation of infrastructures, working directly with Quadrante’s clients to identify needs and implement effective automation solutions;
• Design, implement and optimise data communication infrastructures in large-scale projects, ensuring the efficiency and robustness of systems;
• Ensure the integration of industrial automation systems, such as SCADA, sensors and other controllers, to ensure efficient data exchange between different platforms;
• Define strategies for the configuration of IP networks, including security and alignment with communication standards for systems;
• Monitor and carry out the ongoing maintenance of automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet clients’ technical and business requirements;
• Develop performance reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions, proposing continuous improvements.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Management;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles;
• Solid knowledge of automation systems, sensors, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and other relevant control technologies;
• Proven cumulative experience in industrial PLC programming, particularly with Allen-Bradley;
• Knowledge of security principles and/or communication with data systems;
• Experience in integrating multiple automation and control systems to ensure they work together, enabling data exchange and interoperability.
