Renvolt in Porto, Portugal is seeking an Automation & Control Engineer to join our growing team on a fixed-term contract. You will study requirements for monitoring and control systems, design architectures, and prepare technical specifications.

The role involves on-site verification, coordinating with subcontractors, and exploring advanced solutions for hybrid and storage automation, with opportunities to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualificações

• Degree or master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of interfaces and protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, ...).
• Basic knowledge of network devices.
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Study and analyze requirements for monitoring and control systems, security systems and other associated automation systems;
• Design and evaluate systems architectures for network equipment and communication field network;
• Create Technical Specification/Requirements, Functional Description and similar documents;
• Create, study and discuss supporting drawings;
• Perform technical analysis and comparison of system solution/equipment;
• On-site technical support – verifications, tests and commissioning of the designed systems;
• Technical discussion and management of sub-contractors for systems to be installed on the site;
• Interaction with several project stakeholders;
• Study new approaches and solutions for the current challenges on the area of hybrid system, storage system, energy management system and other automation systems;
• Study and propose continuous improvements techniques to support the internal process optimization.
