Advannor is seeking an Automation Commissioning Engineer to join its growing automation team. You will commission, test, optimize, and support advanced packaging and automation systems at customer sites and internal facilities.

The role involves diagnosing electrical, mechanical, software, and automation issues, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring system performance and customer success. Strong PLC and documentation skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, automation engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in commissioning, automation, machine building, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware and software.
• Familiar with PLC-based control systems and reading electrical diagrams.
• Excellent communication and proactive, hands-on approach.

Responsabilidades

• Commission, test, and optimize systems during installation, upgrades, and customer acceptance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and automation issues.
• Execute system testing and validation to meet requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, test, and optimize systems during installation, upgrades, and customer acceptance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and automation-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Execute system testing and validation to verify compliance with functional and performance requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, programmers, and operators to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, testing, troubleshooting, and system improvements.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in commissioning, automation, machine building, packaging, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software systems.
• Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and industrial automation technologies.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, or similar.
• Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, servo systems, and industrial communication networks.
• Experience working directly with customers during installation and commissioning activities.
• Exposure to packaging machinery, robotics, or automated production systems.
