Körber seeks a skilled electrical/controls engineer to oversee PLC commissioning, on-site testing, and documentation for automated intralogistics projects. You will coordinate acceptance reports, obtain customer approvals, and support integration tasks across material flow systems, collaborating with project managers.

The role requires a degree in electrical/computer engineering, strong Siemens TIA expertise, and willingness to travel internationally (~150+ days/year).

Qualificações

• Degree in electrical engineering, control engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA software and safety programming.
• Experience with drives (frequency and servo) and network configuration (Profinet, AS-i).
• Familiarity with PLC languages Ladder and STL.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee PLC commissioning, documentation and acceptance per guidelines.
• Carry out on-site internal tests for control systems (I/O tests, Profinet config, functional checks).
• Document control tasks and ensure service functionality per specs.
• Obtain customer approvals for functional/test specs and manage acceptance reports.
• Support project/system integration managers with integration tasks for material flow systems and provide technical support.
• Ensure all required functions are tested and accepted by the customer.

Your role in our team

• You will oversee PLC commissioning, documentation and the acceptance process in accordance with internal guidelines
• You will carry out on-site internal tests relating to control systems (e.g. I/O tests, Profinet configuration, functional checks)
• You will document all control-related tasks and ensure the functionality of the services in accordance with the agreed specifications
• You will obtain customer approvals for functional and test specifications and be responsible for the overall acceptance reports
• You will support the project and system integration managers with integration tasks for the entire material flow system and provide technical support
• You are responsible for ensuring that all required functions are tested and accepted by the customer

Your profile

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, software engineering or a related field
• You have excellent knowledge of Siemens software (TIA), including safety programming, and expertise in the field of drives (frequency and servo drives)
• You have experience in network configuration, including Profinet and AS-i and are familiar with PLC programming languages such as Ladder and STL
• Knowledge of barcode readers, light curtains and networks is an advantage
• You work both independently and as part of a team, and have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You are willing to travel internationally for approximately 150+ days per year
