Siemens Energy is hiring for an I&C commissioning specialist in Porto, Portugal. You will commission, test, and optimize automation systems, analyze system behavior, and troubleshoot to improve reliability.

You will participate in interlock checks, validate control logic, and support customer acceptance tests and handovers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across international projects, with opportunities to travel and work abroad, contributing to safe, efficient energy

Qualificações

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar (must-have)
• Experience working with industrial automation or control systems in energy or process industries (must-have)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in international environments (must-have)
• Professional English skills and willingness to travel and work abroad for extended periods (must-have)
• Knowledge of DCS, PLCs, control logic, instrumentation, or industrial communication protocols (nice-to-have)

You start your day on-site or remotely, supporting the commissioning of advanced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems used in critical energy infrastructure. You configure and test automation systems, review control logic, and solve technical challenges to ensure systems run reliably. You work closely with engineering teams and customers, helping deliver safe and efficient plants. Throughout the day, you validate system performance and support handover activities. Your work directly contributes to successful project delivery worldwide.
