Experimental Porto, part of Experimental, is opening La Compagnie Porto in Porto in late 2026. We are seeking a Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier with a passion for wine and a guest‑focused mindset to join the team and deliver memorable wine experiences.

You will guide guests on wine selections, contribute to a curated wine list emphasizing Portuguese wines, and work with suppliers and the Sommelier Manager to ensure top quality service and stock management.

Qualificações

• Proven experience working as a Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier.
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese and international wines.
• Able to advise guests on wine pairing and recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to train team members.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Advise guests on wine selection and pairing during daily service and events.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a balanced wine list with focus on Portuguese wines.
• Manage wine purchasing, supplier relationships and stock control.
• Contribute to cellar management, inventory, and stock rotation.
• Support onboarding and training of the Sommelier team.
