CALB Europe S.A in Lisbon seeks an Asset Accountant to manage construction project finances, asset capitalization, depreciation, and lifecycle processes for photovoltaic initiatives. You will review EPC contracts, ensure IFRS compliance, track CAPEX versus budget, and maintain the fixed asset register.

The role includes subsidy material preparation, audit support, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure precise reporting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualificações

• More than 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Construction or EPC Contract review
• Experience in the construction field or real state
• Manage photovoltaic construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence. Oversee subcontractors, support licensing, and report on progress.

Responsabilidades

• Review EPC/engineering contracts and identify financial risks (payment terms, WHT/VAT, milestone linkage, securities, variation exposure).
• Provide clear, actionable financial comments to support project decisions.
• Track project progress and validate cost capitalization.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Budget & Cost Monitoring - Monitor CAPEX budget vs. actuals.
• Reconcile engineering progress with financial data.
• Produce variance analysis and flag risks.
• Government Grants & Audit Support - Prepare and manage subsidy application materials.
• Track milestones, support on-site inspections and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with grant conditions.
• Asset Lifecycle Management - Manage full lifecycle: construction, capitalization, depreciation, disposal.
• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• System & Data Management - Play power user role of FA in SAP go-alive project.
• Support process standardization and internal control improvements.
