CALB (Europe) S.A in Lisbon seeks an Asset Accountant to oversee the full lifecycle of assets from construction to depreciation. You will review EPC contracts, monitor CAPEX and capitalization, and ensure IFRS compliance while supporting grant processes and audit readiness.

With 3+ years in asset accounting within construction/EPC, you will work closely with project teams and act as a SAP power user during the go-live phase, driving standardization and internal control improvements.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in asset accounting or capital projects.
• Experience in construction/EPC environments and contract reviews.
• Experience with IFRS and group accounting policies.

Responsabilidades

• Review EPC/engineering contracts and identify financial risks (payment terms, WHT/VAT, milestone linkage, securities, variation exposure).
• Provide clear, actionable financial comments to support project decisions.
• Track project progress and validate cost capitalization.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Monitor CAPEX budget vs. actuals and reconcile engineering progress with financial data.
• Produce variance analysis and flag risks.
• Prepare and manage subsidy application materials and track milestones for grants and audits.
• Manage full lifecycle of assets: construction, capitalization, depreciation, disposal.
• Play power user role of FA in SAP go-live project and support process standardization.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC/engineering contracts and identify financial risks (payment terms, WHT/VAT, milestone linkage, securities, variation exposure).
• Provide clear, actionable financial comments to support project decisions.
• Track project progress and validate cost capitalization.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.

Budget & Cost Monitoring

• Monitor CAPEX budget vs. actuals.
• Reconcile engineering progress with financial data.
• Produce variance analysis and flag risks.

Government Grants & Audit Support

• Prepare and manage subsidy application materials.
• Track milestones, support on-site inspections and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with grant conditions.

Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage full lifecycle: construction, capitalization, depreciation, disposal.
• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure audit-ready documentation.

System & Data Management

• Play power user role of FA in SAP go-alive project.
• Support process standardization and internal control improvements.

Requirements
