CALB Europe S.A is seeking an Industrial Training Coordinator to lead the design and execution of the European training system for manufacturing operations in Portugal.

You will develop training plans, ensure ISO and regulatory compliance, coordinate delivery, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement across operators, technicians, engineers and support staff.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Degree related to the field (engineering, operations, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• ISO knowledge (9001/14001/45001) is an asset.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the training system for the European company and plant, including regulations, procedures, matrices, and records.
• Create annual, monthly, and project-phase training plans based on operational needs and competency gaps.
• Design detailed training plans for production operators, technicians, engineers, and support teams.
• Ensure training plans and materials comply with internal requirements, Portuguese laws, EHS, quality, and ISO management systems.
• Coordinate delivery of training activities and monitor adherence to plans, with evaluation and feedback.
• Maintain training files, competency matrices, progress reports, and audit documentation.

CALB (Europe) S.A is looking for an Industrial Training Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the training system for the European company and manufacturing plant, including training regulations, procedures, workflows, training matrices, competency matrices, job qualification models, training records, and training effectiveness assessment mechanisms.
• Develop annual, monthly, and project‑phase training plans, taking into account the company’s and plant’s construction stage, production and operational needs, job requirements, employees’ competency gaps, and operational priorities.
• Design detailed training plans tailored to different target groups, including production operators, team leaders, technicians, engineers, non‑operational support teams, and other employees, ensuring that the plans are practical, measurable, and traceable.
• Ensure that training plans, procedures, materials, records, and evaluations are developed and maintained in accordance with the company’s internal requirements, applicable Portuguese legislation, EHS, quality and production requirements, and ISO management systems.
• Organize or coordinate the delivery of training activities, monitor adherence to established plans, implement evaluation and feedback mechanisms, assess training effectiveness, and propose continuous improvements to training content and methods.
• Create and maintain training files, training records, competency matrices, completion indicators, progress reports, and the documentation required for internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and management decision-making.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English and Portuguese
• Knowledge of ISO systems will be considered an asset, namely ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or other management systems applicable to industry
• Availability to travel
