Connect Digital in Lisbon is seeking an Application Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience to strengthen our distributed platforms. The role is hybrid in Lisbon and focuses on API, microservices, and performance stability.

You will monitor APIs, triage incidents, and collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps. Proficiency with OpenShift, IBM API Connect, Dynatrace, Kibana, SQL, ServiceNow, and Python scripting is highly valued.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience providing functional support for applications in distributed microservices environments.
• Experience with OpenShift and APIs, IBM API Connect preferred.
• Basic SQL knowledge for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with ITSM systems such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Experience consulting logs in Kibana.
• Analytical mindset and autonomy in incident resolution.
• Availability to provide out-of-hours support through an on-call rotation.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with experience in APIs, microservices, and distributed environments to strengthen an application support team in Lisbon. This hybrid role is focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of digital platforms, helping deliver a seamless experience for clients. It is ideal for someone analytical, autonomous in incident resolution, and comfortable working with modern integration, observability, and application support technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting APIs, preferably with IBM API Connect.
• Basic SQL knowledge for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with ITSM systems such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Experience consulting logs in Kibana.
• Analytical mindset and autonomy in incident resolution.

Nice to Have

• Experience in frontend triage with React or Angular.
• Experience with Python for scripts or automation.

Salary & Benefits

• Gross annual salary: €17,000–€19,000, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
